About Me
I first discovered hypnosis as a teenager in 1990, and what began as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion. I spent many years studying and practising as a hobbyist, helping friends and family experience the positive impact of hypnosis. Even then, it was clear to me that hypnosis could create meaningful change where other approaches often struggle.

Alongside this, I built a career as an executive and business coach, working with C-suite leaders to improve personal performance and business outcomes. Throughout that time, hypnosis remained central to my interest in how people think, change, and overcome challenges.

Today, I specialise in Ericksonian hypnotherapy, widely regarded as one of the most effective approaches for issues such as anxiety, phobias, and trauma. By using indirect suggestion, this method works with your unconscious mind, helping to bypass the resistance that can limit more direct techniques and enabling deeper, lasting change. I trained with the British Hypnosis Research Institute under founder and senior lecturer Stephen Brooks, a pioneer of Ericksonian hypnosis in the UK and Europe since 1979. This training forms the foundation of my work as a professional hypnotherapist in Plymouth, Devon.

Using a compassionate, client-focused approach, I help people overcome long-standing issues by guiding them into a natural, relaxed trance state where real change can happen quickly and effectively. Many clients are surprised by how natural the process feels and how rapidly they begin to see results.

Renew You Hypnotherapy reflects what I see every day in my practice here in Plymouth: people freeing themselves from limiting beliefs, habits, and emotional challenges, often in just a few sessions. It is a privilege to support that transformation and help clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and control.
